22nd Annual Godwit Days Spring Migration Bird Festival
Godwit Days, now in its 22nd year, is the best place to watch the spring shorebird migration at its peak (over 300 species of birds at the Arcata Marsh alone) and tour the bio-diverse Redwood forests resplendent with Northern Spotted Owls, Marbled Murrelets, and other North Coast specialty species. The festival incorporates many aspects of the animals and habitats that make up the beautiful North Coast.
