Women's Veteran Mask Making
Please note, this event has expired.
This six-hour workshop will begin with a survey of the history of mask making and how masks have been used for performance, disguise, concealment, and protection.
There will also be a discussion on contemporary artists that use masks in their work and how their art investigates identity. Participants will then make their own masks with clay. They will be encouraged to explore parts of themselves and their emotions about that are connected to their time in the service.
