Why We Sing: SVCC Turns 50

SVCC’s 50th Anniversary Concert is led by esteemed Artistic Director Jim R. Parr, Jr. and accompanied by acclaimed concert pianist Jason Sia. Enhancing this once-in-a-lifetime event are Guest Conductors Anthony Lien and William Zinn, an instrumental ensemble, and choir alumni. Repertoire ranges from “Bohemian Rhapsody” to “Moonglow” to the breathtaking finale of “Why We Sing” followed by “The Awakening.”

In its five decades, SVCC has performed at the State Fair, Crocker Museum, River Cats
