The Flesh Eaters

The Flesh Eaters formed in 1977, and were very much a product of the City of Angels’ notable party scene, known to be as artistic as it was debaucherous. Desjardins formed the band and found its original members from bands like The Blasters, X and Los Lobos, all of which have come to define that era of L.A. music in their own right.

Since then, the Flesh Eaters have gone through many lineup changes and many tumultuous situations that have changed the band’s music and chemistry. Now the original lineup is back at it, and have not deteriorated in the slightest. They are just as hard-hitting and alarming as ever.

The Flesh Eaters feature John Doe and DJ Bonebreak of X, Dave Alvin and Bill Bateman of the Blasters, Steve Berlin of Los Lobos and the legendary poet, Chris D.
