This is a major fund raising event for both Soroptimist International of Citrus Heights and the Kiwanis Club of Citrus Heights. Net proceeds from this event benefit each club’s Community Service Projects.

There will also be beer, wine, margaritas, soda, and water sold at the bar. Dessert can be purchased from the San Juan High School Culinary Academy students to finish off your meal.
Soroptimists support domestic violence and human trafficking victims by paying utility bills for Harmony House (safehouse), donating goods for ‘Soroptimist House’ (transitional housing), and supplying backpacks filled with personal items. They also present a Dream It, Be It program at a local high school for girls who face obstacles to their future success.
Kiwanis support Kiwanis House which provides temporary housing and support to families of ill and injured patients at UC Davis Medical Center and Shriners Hospital in Sacramento, recognize and encourage students to improve grades with incentives (BUG program – Bring Up Grades), support food banks, and make donations to many different charities in order to improve the lives of children.
Both clubs give many scholarships and awards to students and other community members in need.
